Emmy Rossum wore a gorgeous green Yves Saint Laurent gown Thursday night to the gala premiere of Rossini's "Le Comte Ory" at the Metropolitan Opera House at Lincoln Center in New York City. The Shameless star is no stranger to opera, either - she performed in over 20 different operas in six languages before even making it television or the big screen, AND she won a Golden Globe in 2005 for her role as Christine in Phantom of the Opera. Now that's impressive!

Emmy attended the opera with pal Olivia Munn, who Tweeted, "Who better 2 go 2 my first opera w/than @emmyrossum? Cant understand a word, but Im clapping alot." (see their pic below)
