Carrie Underwood Talks Acting Career, Engagement Ring And 'American Idol' (Video)

When asked about the engagement ring that Ottawa Senators center Mike Fisher put on her finger last December, Carrie Underwood tells the latest issue of Allure Magazine the he "could've put a twisty-tie on my finger and that would've worked."
In the issue, she also talks about her time on "American Idol" and the resulting fame; and she recently revealed that she gets offered alot of movie roles, but isn't in any rush to cross over to acting.
"I get scripts in all the time," she says. "It would really have to be the right thing. I'm not going to kid myself and pretend that I'm an actress, because I'm not, but if something ever came up that was just fun, something that it would be fun to look on when I'm older, I'd be into that."
Despite her comment, Carrie recently made her acting debut on TV sitcom "How I Met Your Mother".
Underwood is set to appear on the cover of the April issue of Allure Magazine, on newsstands March 23.
