Jennifer Lawrence originally struggled to handle with her fame.
The brunette beauty was thrust into the spotlight with her role as leading lady Katniss Everdeen in The Hunger Games and she can relate to her fictional alter-ego, who also became famous in her hometown in the film's sequel The Hunger Games: Catching Fire.
The 23-year-old actress told Empire magazine: "There is the connection in that she doesn't feel like she's part of town anymore. Now everyone treats her like a celebrity...
"Whereas she still feels like she's part of them. I get that a lot. I'll go and get a coffee where I always get coffee and all of a sudden there's this weird mood, and I'm like 'Come on, I still get coffee here, just say hello.' "
Nonetheless, Lawrence is adapting to her newfound stardom despite finding the initial buzz difficult to cope with.
She continues: "Right now, I don't have anyone [following me]. It was very intense for a while and I thought 'Oh God I cannot do this.' But it goes away and comes back, so it's not actually as horrible as I thought it was going to be."
