On Saturday night, Zach Galifianakis missed the premiere of his latest movie at the Toronto Film Festival to stay by his wife's side as she prepares to give birth.
The 43 year-old actor has kept news of his partner's pregnancy secret, and Matthew Weiner, the director of his new movie You Are Here, admits even he did not know about the baby until Galifianakis was forced to pull out of his appearance at the festival.
Weiner told reporters at the event, "We literally found out on Friday. Zach is going to be the best dad in the world."
Galifianakis' manager adds to E! Online, "(Galifianakis) missed the premiere because his wife is very pregnant and about to give birth and he did not want to take the chance of not being in L.A. if she went into labor."
The Hangover star reportedly married Quinn Lundberg last year but has been fiercely private about the relationship.
Nevertheless, he has long been open about his desire to have children and he previously told Rolling Stone magazine, "I've been wanting kids for 10 years. I'd love to adopt, have them naturally - all of it. I want, like, 15."
