Avicii's Scottish Concert Marred By Brawls
On Saturday night, Avicii's performance in Glasgow descended into pandemonium after a number of violent brawls broke out in the crowd.
The Swedish DJ was performing at the Bellahouston Park venue as part of the Summer Sessions events, but his headline set was marred by reports of fights in the audience.
Several people were ejected from the show, and medical staff stepped in to help the injured, while many other concert-goers took to Twitter to vent their anger about the fighting.
One Twitter user writes, "Avicii was great. Shame about all the scum fighting... Waste of money worst gig I've been to and thts purely down to the idiots tht (that) were at it," while another audience member adds, "Paid £40 to see Avicii, heard one song and left due to the amount of drugged up a**eholes wanting to fight with everyone."
Another concert-goer concludes, "People throwing bottles in to the crowd and stuff at Avicii... was shocking. Also disgusting the amount of woman fighting."
However, the 23 year-old DJ appeared unfazed by the trouble, writing in a post on Twitter page after the appearance, "F**king amazing show in Glasgow tonight! Unreal!!! Thank you so much!"
