Legendary rockers KISS have launched a new Arena Football team in California.
The LA KISS will play their games at the Honda Center in Anaheim and next year's season kick-off will include a concert by Gene Simmons' rock band.
Simmons and KISS frontman Paul Stanley are part-owners of the team, which will use the band's iconic logo.
Simmons says, "As a fast-paced, high-action band, this partnership with the AFL was an obvious fit for us. Attending an LA KISS game in 2014 will be similar to a live Kiss show, with thrilling, heart-pounding action."
The KISS will be the first AFL team to call L.A. home since the Los Angeles Avengers folded in 2009.
KISS aren't the only rockers with links to the Arena Football League - Jon Bon Jovi was a part-owner of the Philadelphia Soul until 2010.
