LOS ANGELES (HOLLYWOOD UNWRAPPED) -- I’m not sure what to say to open this column except to reiterate the title of it "I Told You So"  TMZ has had a story up titled “Teen Dad: Baby Mama Got Preggo for MTV Show”. Correct me if I’m wrong but I believe I mentioned in my column “Must Not See TV” that having a show like this could give girls the idea to get pregnant just to appear on this show. Now, my fear has become a reality!

According to the report published first by TMZ.com,Josh Smith said that his girlfriend planned it all out so she could get pregnant and be on the hit show “16 and Pregnant”. I’m not sure what’s worse. This girl at around 15 years of age had the capacity to plan such a thing or that MTV is paying the girls to be part of the show. According to court documents that TMZ obtained, Smith claims his girlfriend is a "compulsive liar" who made up a diabolical scheme to get pregnant -- allegedly telling him she was knocked up (even though she wasn't) so he wouldn't wear a condom.

I’ve said it before when I wrote a column about a 14 year old girl that had her make up done professionally and did a photo shoot in a bikini so that  she could be considered for the Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue.I’m now going to say it again when I ask “where are the parents of these teens?” The million dollar question is why aren't parents doing something to get these teen shows cancelled?

If I was a parent to one of these kids , I’d be so pissed off that I’m not sure what I would do! I do know that my daughter would not end up like this on a television show! When the Vice Presidential hopefuls child can do this (Sarah Palin) people think why not???? We have organizations dedicated to just about everything and people complain about everything. Now why on earth are parents NOT getting upset about this trend? Girls are trying to have sex just so they can end up on MTV, get their 15 minutes of fame and the cover of People and Us Weekly!  I personally think it’s time for myself and everyone else to stop giving these people ink and column! Maybe the world will change just a little for the better!

Smith explains ... "She was giving me sonogram pictures that she claimed was 'our baby' when in actuality [sic] it was her friend's sonogram pictures she was copying! She lied to me and my parents for 3 months saying she was pregnant. She wanted so desperately to be on 'Sixteen and Pregnant'."

When is this organization that we have that deals with children and teens-Child Protective Services- going to step in? This show has had more police involvement then any show I know of! That includes “The Jersey Shore” when the girls were hitting the guys in the face! Even like Jennifer Del Rio, the mastermind supposedly behind getting pregnant specifically for this show did to her baby’s mother. The other participants have also been in fights and have been involved with excessive drinking.I’m just waiting for Child Protective Services to step in because they sure as hell step in when it’s not needed! Maybe it’s time to put a stop to this stuff now before someone kills another person! I’m just saying that if this is what our young people are getting their ideas from, all I can say is the future of our country looks bleak, as society falls further and further into the gutter!!!
