You may think this team may be on the more recent end of director/writer relationshsips, as they have only realeased a total of two movies together, but the threesome have been operating together longer than most people think. If you haven't ever seen an episode of the BBC series "Spaced" (1999-2001), do youself a favor and get on that ASAP. The series is like a small scale exploration of all the things Wright and Pegg wanted to do from the start. Did you like "Shaun of the Dead"? "Spaced" has a zombie episode. "Hot Fuzz"? "Spaced" has got you covered there too. And the "Star Wars" episode? Brilliant.

The three of them let their inner geeks fly in this series, and it led them to an amazing set of films for us all to enjoy. Don't believe the trio is magic? Go watch "Paul" and see what a disappointment it was when Pegg and Frost trusted a different director with one of their scripts.
