Legendary

Dolph Lundgren vs. various large animals?!  Yup and we’re checking out the new to DVD flick "Legendary" out now from Lionsgate Home Entertainment.  We review the animals and Dolph in their natural habitat below.

Legendary

   Title: "Legendary"

   Grade: 2

   Director: Eric Styles

   Rating: PG-13

   Runtime: 92 minutes

The Flick: Yet another case of bad vs. good in the search for some very fake looking giant creatures.  (One passable bear and another that looks like a bearded dragon blown up "Honey, I Shrunk The Kids" style!)  On the good side is Scott Adkins and his eclectic team and on the other Dolph as the stereotypical baddie.  Best of this bunch is the chemistry ridden relationship between Adkins and Dolph’s team hottie Crystal Huang, but even then it’s not enough to make up for the bad Sci-Fy movie of the week vibe.

Best Feature: The 'Making Of' is at least a single one-stop shop doc with everything from interviews to on-set stuff.

Best Hidden Gem: Again, the bear the gang faces at the beginning did seems scary and ample enough to take on the "Red Scorpion!"

Worth the Moola: B-movie category is being nice – this one is a fluff fest.
