Dead Drop

The Flick: "Dead Drop" has its fair share of ups and downs.  On the down side the “revenge” thriller is slower then dirt, which isn’t helped by the incessant use of fades to black.  (Who edited this thing?!)  On the up side there’s the chemistry ridden relationship between buddies turned enemies Luke Gross and highly underrated Nestor Carbonell which makes for a rich payback.  Plus the story is told in a fashion where events unfold over time – a tactic that does hold interest.  Good and bad, this one is pure rental fare.

Best Feature: No extras – someone should take the credit...and the blame.

Best Hidden Gem: Again, great man chemistry between the two leads – bros bring bang for buck.

Worth the Moola: Good.  Bad.  They’re the guys with the guns.
