The Flick: I was fully expecting to hate "Red 2," but a strange thing happened...I dug it.  Not only does it have everything from a seriously cool ass kicking, gun-toting Helen Mirren to a scene with BOTH Hannibal Lector’s Brian Cox and Anthony Hopkins, but it frankly tops the original with style and action that rocks.  (The addition of Byung Hun Lee adds a shot of nitroglycerine!)  To boot everyone here looks like they’re having one hell of a time and adds an even more comedy then the first go around with one exception – Bruce Willis.  Stoic, unmovable and stiff as a board, Willis unfortunately sucks the comedic lifeblood out of almost every scene he’s in.  And amidst a flick with style, substance and one hell of a star-studded cast, Willis’s work is about as welcome and warm as a turd in a swimming pool.  What happened to the fun filled days of David Addison and Bruno?  Even the joyful Hudson Hawk would give his ho-hum turn a thumbs down.

Best Feature: 'The Red 2 Experience' uses equal film flash to cover everything from the weapons to the cast – at least everyone is talking!

Best Hidden Gem: The disc’s 'Gag Reel' only makes my point even more poignant – Willis looks miserable.  (And yes Bruce – it shows!)

Worth the Moola: Amidst an uninspired Willis phoning it in, "Red 2" is a sweet second helping of the good stuff.
