Runtime: 286 minutes
Release Company: Lionsgate Home Entertainment
The Show: Of all the reality based Vegas History channel shows what continues to make "Counting Cars" stand out is the presence, passion and pride of owner and showman Danny “The Count” Koker. As the master and genius behind Count’s Kustoms, Danny seems to take every car and bike job in the shop to heart and it makes for great and inspired TV. In Season 2 there’s even more to enjoy as we see Danny and his team build everything from a motorcycle for a gent with physical limitations to a tribute truck to a gent painting portraits of fallen troops. And it moves the folks who commission these works of art, the viewers and I suspect Danny and his team too. I almost wonder if Koker wears his trademark shades to simply keep the cameras from showing off his sensitive side, but the Count need not worry. Caring is truly what makes you cool.
Best Feature: We get to hear even more insight from Danny and the crew on various subjects via 20 minutes of extra footage! (Though next time I want behind the scenes stuff!)
Best Hidden Gem: Most revealing and memorable moment is when Danny becomes emotional and has to excuse himself when talking about a car in his collection dedicated to his mom – moving indeed.
Worth the Moola: Again, unlike other shows in this vein host Danny Koker seems to genuinely care and it makes "Counting Cars" season after season a joy to watch.
