The Flick: As far as sheer creep factor, "Nailbiter" delivers handsomely.  It’s got uncomfortable claustrophobia (trapped in a basement while evading a hurricane anyone?!), shadowed monsters (just what the hell are they?!) and plenty of gals fighting back (love it when our misfit dons a huge nail gun!) to make for one fun ride in the horror hallways.  Yes, there are some unneeded bits (what was the whole opening relationship tease thing about?!) and questions left unanswered, but in the book of thrills and chills "Nailbiter" lives up to its inventive name.

Best Feature: Here’s the down side – without a making of we’re forced to listen to two "Commentary" tracks and neither are anything to write home about.  You have a choice between a sickeningly sweet one with all four lead actresses or a dry one with way too many production folks in the room.  Advice - skip ‘em all and watch the flick again!

Best Hidden Gem: I did love the machismo ending which leaves room for further "Nailbiter" adventures!

Worth the Moola: Another good flick to rent for Halloween night – dim the lights and grab a loved one!
