The Flick: Unfortunately the breeze is distinctively foul, as this shameful, awful and downright sub-par take on an H.P. Lovecraft story is one flat out dud.  Complete with annoying voice over narration, amateur acting, horrible effects (didn’t my kid make some of those on his computer at school?!) and a story that you can’t wait to end, "Cool Air" fails on every level a flick can.  It’s actually surprising because the director here Albert Pyun is one of my childhood favorites.  Albert, he of "Dangerously Close" and "Dollman," what in the hell happened to you man?!  This one is like a bad UCLA student project minus the potential factor – Lovecraft deserves better sir.

Best Feature: No features – there is a silver lining!

Best Hidden Gem: The DVD cover is the only thing that has a pinch of interesting – though only serves to highlight even more how much the movie sucks.

Worth the Moola: Avoid this one like the plague – hit the nearest air conditioner instead.
