Phineas and Ferb

Ready to check out the latest DVD toon kid compilation…from an actual kid?  Then hold on tight as my 12-year old Will Coleman gives us the tot review skinny on the new to DVD "Phineas and Ferb: Animal Agents," out now from Walt Disney Home Entertainment.  The way of the Platypus is review revealed below!

Phineas and Ferb DVD

Title: "Phineas and Ferb: Animal Agents"

   Grade: 3

   Director: Various

   Rating: G

   Runtime: 168 minutes

Release Company: Walt Disney Home Entertainment

   Website: www.DisneyDVD.com

Best of the Twelve-Episode Set:

Will’s Take – “My favorite episode is “Where’s Perry?” Parts One and Two because it was longer and more suspenseful.”  (aka give the kids more bang for the buck and they’ll love you for it!)

Worst of the Twelve-Episode Set:

Will’s Take – “Worst was “Robot Rodeo” because the Robot Bulls were seen chasing a red balloon.  The only reason bulls hate red blankets is not because of the color (they’re color blind!) but because it thinks it’s being taunted- learned that in second grade!  (I didn’t even know that – go figure the kid has skills!)

Best Moment:

Will’s Take – In the episode Agent Doof when Doofenshmirtz pushed a button on the flying Platypus car that launched a rocket that then hit Major Monogram’s car while he said, “Doofenshmirtz!!!”  (I have no idea what this means, but the kids seems exited!)

The Feature: Take Two with Phineas and Ferb

Will’s Take – Sort of funny with Phineas and Ferb interviewing real people like Ben Stiller – so-so.”  (Doesn’t sound like a ringing endorsement)

Worth the Moola:

My take is that the kid enjoyed it, but he only kept the included spy glasses and not the DVD itself – what does that tell you!
