The Show: Before receiving this fourth volume of "Storage Wars," I had never heard of the show.  A self-proclaimed movie geek, I frankly don’t have the time or inclination to watch a TV show.  But I decided to check out a single episode one day just for a goof – they hooked my ass.  "Storage Wars" is like a modern day treasure hunt where you could go home with an empty chest or one filled with pirate gold.  The cast is engaging with Barry “The Collector” Weiss leading the pack as the most funny and outlandish of the storage unit divers.  Dave Hester, who is a bitter curmudgeon, seems to be getting his just due in this season and feels like he’s taking some reflection time.  (Can you tell I’m gonna check out the previous volumes!)  Darrell Sheets and his son need to spend some father to son bonding time over something else and will Brandi ever give the seemingly beaten down Jarrod a break?  In doing research on this show there seems to be both a lot of speculation about faking stuff (Dave Hester is currently suing!) and tragedies (cast member Mark Balelo – who is MIA in this volume – committed suicide), but I’m staying out of all that crap.  I can only judge what is going on the screen and like a drug it’s addictive and feels real.  Shame on those who sent me this DVD – you got me good.  (Best find in this volume – the black jacket found by Barry with the ‘Revenge of the Jedi’ embroidered on the back, which to a movie geek is like striking oil!)

Best Feature: The 'Bonus Footage' has a little bit more of everybody doing more of the same...and I watched every damn minute of it!

Best Hidden Gem: Extra Barry riffing to the camera and crew – I want to meet that guy!

Worth the Moola: Even if you haven’t seen the other volumes (I hadn’t) this one will still hook you like an unsuspecting trout – crack is like harmless sugar next to the addiction of this show.
