2. "Saving Private Perez" (Lionsgate Home Entertainment)

Where this title came from I have no idea, but nothing is more satisfying than discovering a five-star flick you’ve never heard of.  A cool Mexican import ala Lionsgate, this clever drama/comedy/action mix is like a more somber, memorable and quirkier version of "Let’s Get Harry."  Charismatic characters, awesome action and killer comedy elevate what could have been a forgettable foreign flick and save it from simply being bargain bin filler.
