For a man falling apart at the seams is it easy to be able to distinguish the dream world from the real world?  So is the surreal journey of David Arquette in the new to DVD film "Black Limousine," out now from Anchor Bay Entertainment.  The review door is open below!

The Flick: I always hate to bring up any personal life stuff when it comes to movies or the actors within, but "Black Limousine" feels like a classic case of life imitating art.  Not that lead man David Arquette has to deal with things like limo driving or music scoring, but the rest of this movie chocked with everything from dealing with alcohol abuse to a marriage and family falling apart is a little too close to home.  So much so that not only is Arquette highly realistic, but "Black Limousine" is just a tough watch.  (Meaning sad, arduous and ever so painful!)  The only saving grace of the piece is in the form of female enigma Bijou Phillips who plays a troubled and damaged gal who may or may not be a dream in David’s disturbed psyche.  Dark, dim and distinctly without joy, "Black Limousine" feels like a cathartic experience for those in mourning – watch at your own risk.   

Best Feature: There are no features, which is a shame as I would have liked to hear from both Director Carl Colpaert (where did he come up with this one?!) and Arquette himself.

Best Hidden Gem: Again, love the underrated Bijou Phillips – I’m itching for "It’s Alive 2!"

Worth the Moola: Unless you’re in a deep depression and looking for thoughts and ideas even darker then your own, this may not brighten your day.
