Tim & Eric's Billion Dollar Movie

Making movies is a tough job, especially when you’ve spent the entire budget on incidentals!  So is the premise of the new to Blu-ray "Tim & Eric’s Billion Dollar Movie," out now from Magnolia Home Entertainment.  The movie buck stops below!

The Flick: This comedy with an inane title (I’m not going to repeat it – it would only encourage them!) starts off in fine form with a mock-infomercial featuring the tongue in cheek mastery of Jeff Goldblum – pure gold.  Unfortunately the film goes downhill right after, with lead men Tim Heidecker and Eric Wareheim coming off as so unfunny that they make Carrot Top look like Eddie Murphy in his prime.  Bad timing (hitting is only funny if you’re one of the Stooges!), bad jokes, bad casting (Even Zach Galifanakis seems normal compared to the oddities in this turkey!) and some seriously bad costumes and hair make for one gloriously bad flick that’s the "My Dinner with Andre" of the comedy genre – long, boring and tedious as hell.

Best Feature: The 'Deleted Scene' involving yet another mock-infomercial (you guys should have just made a whole film out of these!) with swords is one commercial that’s got more funny then the whole movie put together!

Best Hidden Gem: Jeff Goldblum opening – watch it, then turn it off.  Fast.

Worth the Moola: See Hidden Gem above – and then disregard anyway.
