Jennifer Lopez Forgot The Words To Her Own Songs At Concerts While Pregnant
Jennifer Lopez stars in the new movie What to Expect When You’re Expecting. Her story involves a couple trying to adopt a baby. The film, based on the guidebook for pregnant mothers by Heidi Murkoff, got Lopez remembering her pregnancy. Fans at some of her live musical shows got to witness the effects of “pregnant brain.”
“I’m on tour, the song starts and I’m like, ‘Anybody know the lyrics to this song?’” Lopez said. “I totally forgot the lyrics to my own song. It’s like this is bad, but then I was like, ‘I’m pregnant, who cares?’”
The band kept playing while Lopez fumbled for the words. “I turned to my band, I’m like, ‘Anybody?’ They didn’t know if I was just having a moment. I was like, ‘I really don’t know the words!’
Clearly all was forgiven and Lopez continues to tour with her music today. Her movie, What to Expect When You’re Expecting opens May 18.
