A Preview Of Spike TV's New Series 'Blue Mountain State'
"My character's name is Craig Shilo, top recruited running back in the nation," Jones said. "Basically, he comes to this big football university. There's nothing but partying hazing and girls. He comes with his controlling girlfriend."
The partying will be for everyone else. Craig is a little hindered in his enjoyment of the debauchery. "He's the top recruit in the nation and the dude just has blue balls basically throughout the episode, the whole season."
A working actor throughout his teens, Jones did not get to have a college experience of his own. "Blue Mountain State is my college experience. I went to Montreal this summer for three months and as far as I know, that's my college experience."
A former regular on Smallville in a supporting role, Jones has high hopes for his new endeavor. "Now I'm on a new show that I'm a series regular on. We premiere January 12 on Spike so I'm just looking forward to that. I think people are going to really love that show."
