Denis Leary's Goal Is To Leave 'Biggest Carbon Footprint'
"My goal is to leave this planet with the biggest carbon footprint I can possibly leave," Leary said. "First of all, I have to have trucks because I live most of my time on a horse farm, so I've gotta have trucks. It's in the northeast, I've got to have pickup trucks to move snow, number one. Number two, just if I'm driving, I don't have to have an SUV but I want a big car. That's why I love America. That's why I think we should save the auto industry. I don't care."
Perhaps a hybrid SUV is a compromise Leary would be willing to accept. "I'm okay with that as long as they have the room in it. I want leg room. I want leg room and I want meat and I want potatoes and I want the biggest TV. I was talking to my son about getting one of these 80 inchers for my apartment. I think I have like a 65. I'm going 80."
For maximum effect, take a deep breath and read these quotes outloud without ever exhaling. "I honestly don't care if my grandchildren can breathe or not. I am a guy, my comfort. I want to be comfortable where I'm driving and where I'm sitting. I want bigger stuff."
