Sienna Miller And Keira Knightley Are Nerds
"I mean, we're quite nerdy," Miller said. "We talk about books and we play cards and do The Guardian crossword. We were living together in this house in Wales that was really beautiful and we all sort of walked around in our pajamas and went for long walks."
Without Knightley around to defend herself, Miller expects to hear about this nerdy revelation later. "Oh god, she's going to kill me now. She's not a nerd. I can be. No one will believe it anyway."
At least they still hang out after filming together, and encourage each other's nerdy pursuits. "We swap books. I went to her house for dinner the other day and she's given me books and she's learning the flute at the moment, I'm learning the piano, quite nerdy. I used to play the piano when I was younger and I'm kind of now going back to it, but I can't read music, so I play it by ear. I need someone to play it, so it's a little complicated to do on my own, but it's fun."
Mind you, she's not a nerd in the comic book variety. She wasn't first in line, camped out to see Watchmen. "I'm not nerdy in that way. I think it will be a great. The trailer looks great, but I'm more nerdy like I go and see the arthouse films. I'm not a comic book person."
The wordy books on her current reading list include: "I'm reading at the moment, One Hundred Years Of Solitude, which I'm enjoying very much. I'm still keen to read Twilight, everyone's read it. What else did I read? On The Road I reread. I'm kind of quite into the beats and poets and Bukowski. Ham On Rye I've got lined up to read next. I'm trying to go back into some of the classics I haven't read."
