"Paperheart" is directed by newcomer Nicholas Jasenovec, who joins Charlyne Yi in writing the film. As part of the mockumentary style of the movie, Charlyne Yi appears alongside her boyfriend Michael Cera and other celebrities like Seth Rogen.SEE IT, RENT IT, OR SKIP IT?
See it. Charlyne Yi has an awkward funny quality to her much like Michael Cera. A film that falls somewhere in between reality and fantasy is an interesting way to tell a story. I think this movie has potential to be pretty funny and carry a good message (See the Starpulse review of "Paper Heart" HERE!

Rent it. Even though I'm a fan of Jeremy Piven, this movie doesn't look wildly funny. It appears to be funny in the typical middle of the road comedy kind of way, relying on gross humor, racist jokes, and slapstick.

See it. Plain and simple this documentary just looks like it rocks pretty hard. Seeing experienced musicians get together and share their collective wisdom is fascinating to me. There is bound to be some good music in the movie.

Rent it. The idea of a man who woos wealthy women to exploit their riches seems like it should create good drama, but the thought of Ashton Kutcher in the lead role has me a bit skeptical. Kutcher definitely has the good looks to pull off the character, but I haven't seen him in anything that has convinced me his acting chops are up to snuff.

Written and directed by the maker of horror shorts, Paul Solet, "Grace" took the Special Jury Prize at the Sundance Film Festival. SEE IT, RENT IT, OR SKIP IT?
See it. I'm not terribly interested in seeing this film because I have a general distaste for horror, but I think horror junkies will love this one. The mother in the movie looks mad in a twisted, creepy way, killing people to keep her child alive.
