In the penultimate episode of this season’s ‘Celebrity Apprentice,’ the final five were quickly cut down to the final two, and work began on the all-important final task.

Trump came out firing, and by the first commercial break, only Sharon Osbourne, Holly Robinson Peete, Bret Michaels and Curtis Stone remained in the competition. WWE Diva, Maria Kanellis got dumped after complaining about Curtis Stone’s dump stinking up her workspace. Although there have been loads and piles of crap in this boardroom over the years, Maria definitely took sh**talking to a new low.

The final four were then interviewed by Joan Rivers and Original Apprentice/E! Reality Star, Bill Rancic. At their recommendation, Trump fired Curtis and shortly after, an emotional Sharon Osbourne was let go. Though she insisted she could handle it, there was some debate about whether or not Ozzy’s better half had the stamina and energy level to get through the finale.

That left Holly Robinson Peete and Bret Michaels to battle it out for the $250,000 prize, which will go to the charity of their choice. Both have extremely personal connections to their charities and have spent the run of the series fighting for their causes on every front. Peete, the mother of an autistic child, has already won $350,000 for her HollyRod Foundation , an organization dedicated to supporting families with autism. Michaels, who has been living with diabetes since age six and has a young daughter who was recently diagnosed with the disease has donated $140,000 to a fund he set up with the American Diabete Association that sponsors camps for kids with diabetes.

Trump explained the elaborate, multi-faceted Snapple-sponsored final task, and sent the contestants off to get started. In this challenge, Holly and Bret are responsible for creating a new flavor of tea, creating a TV commercial and print ad, and then launching the flavor at an event with Snapple employees, distributors, and fans.

From what we have seen so far, Bret and his returning teammates, Darryl Strawberry and Summer Sanders are launching a cinnamon, vanilla concoction called Tropirocka, and Bret is freaking out about not having a dolly track at his commercial shoot. Holly and her potty-mouthed teammates, Maria and Curtis, are less frantic and have already filmed their ad for their new Compassion Berry flavor. Of course, we'll have to wait until next week to see how everything turns out.

Previews for the finale focus on Holly and Bret’s personal connections to their causes and the launch of their new flavors of Snapple. All this product placement is making me very thirsty all of a sudden! Are they selling Tropirocka or Compassion Berry Snapple yet?

What do you think of the final two? Is your money on Bret or Holly to win the last task and the title of ‘Celebrity Apprentice?’
