The Good
A definite "do" was the one sported by "Without a Trace" star Roselyn Sanchez. Wearing a one shoulder, knee-length dress in a slightly silvery color with golden prints, Roselyn appeared princess perfect. With her jet black hair flowing effortlessly on her shoulders, the only thing missing was a deserving tiara. Que princesa!
There was nothing ludicrous about Ludacris' sharp suit. He could have done without the shades, therefore exposing those gleaming brown eyes of his, but we understand that as dapper as he looked, he still had to keep it a bit gangsta. Though we do miss his Afro puff, we do love his short cut which goes well, of course, with that swanky tuxedo jacket and pants he was rocking. The matching tie and handkerchief scream that Luda is all grown up and definitely here to stay.
British sweetheart Corinne Bailey Rae was definitely singing the blues, but it was not a song to make us or her mellow. Corinne's strapless and shimmery dress was definitely a 'let's go party because I've arrived' divalicious outfit. The black ankle strapped heels gave her that extra touch of sexiness without going too over the top. And, with such perfectly golden skin, she needed no other accessory.
John Legend's smooth black velvet vest appeared as melodic as the sound of his voice. If clothing was music, then John's outfit on the red carpet would be a number-one hit. We love the detail on the inner white shirt with vertical stripes. It is such a well-made piece that a tie is unnecessary, and it goes perfectly with the exaggerated high collar of the vest. Legendary indeed!
