Duchess Kate Confirmed To Attend Hedge Funds Gala
The Duchess of Cambridge has confirmed her attendance at the One Hundred Women in Hedge Funds Gala dinner, to be held on the twenty-fourth of October. Money raised from the ticket sales wil be used to benefit "Action on Addiction," a charity the Duchess is an active patron of. The State Apartments at Kenginston Palace is the setting for the gala and will be the first high level event the Duke and Duchess will preside over in their own right.
The purpose of the gala is to act as a nonprofit charitable event for the hardworking professionals of the finance industry (specifically in the area of investments) to include the asssitance of raising funds for the sake of family and indiviudal women's health in addition to mentoring and education programs. Action on Addiction will use the funds raised from the event to fund research, treatment, professional education, family support, and other additional help such as education and mentoring to educate patients and their families.
