VThe fact that there is only one more "V" episode left in 2009 is depressing, because after this week's episode of "V," all I want is more more more. They really are doing an excellent job with pacing and upping the ante for the story each week. Whether or not the viewers will move with them after such a long break (past the Olympics next year apparently) remains to be seen.

Now that the USA has agreed to ally with the V's, they are able to get visas and wander the streets if they want to. Anna is the very first to get her visa, and she starts to plot a way to move the anti-V sentiment once again. A woman, Mary Faulkner, was the wife of a pilot who died in the first episode because of the V's arriving. She angrily speaks out about them and Anna plans to use her as a device for peace. This is just the first of Anna's many twisty turvy genius plans, and she is a brilliant manipulator. She and Ben Linus (from "Lost") should hang out.

Erica is surprised to find out that a death threat has been given to the V's, and the FBI is covering protection for them. She is paired up with a V, and she shows little fear or anger at the aliens, even if it is certainly how she feels on the inside. Erica ends up stopping the shooter successfully before he gets to anyone, and she has earned the gratitude of Anna's right hand man. Or so she thinks. Erica also sneaks into a special viewing room in the V's office, and she realizes that their suits all have cameras. So they are literally always watching. Creepy.

Father Jack/Hotness goes looking for the rebel leader George, doing incredibly stupid things like introducing himself to people and handing out his cards. Father Hotness needs to learn some tricks before he gets himself killed. Then who will Erica have awkward sexual tension with? George does find him and tells him just how stupid and innocent he's being, and they agree to band together. Woo hoo. The resistance has officially begun! Ryan also joins up with them after learning a harsh lesson of betrayal. He goes looking for help from an old traitor V, but his friend has joined back up with the V's and plans to turn him in. They talk about some interesting things involving Anna and something called 'bliss.' It seems that she gives the V's bliss and that's why they follow her word. Or is it someone other than Anna? Interesting. Ryan kills his former friend and writes "John May lives" so the V's know the resistance is getting back together. They are not happy about this. John May is the former leader of the resistance.

In Stupid Teenager World, Tyler gets attention from Lisa when she breaks out to have pizza with him. She says the V's will take him back and he brings her home. Not to meet mom, but to make out in his bedroom. Erica busts in on them but both teenagers get down to their skivvies and she thinks this is just some random girl from school her son is going after. Erica is remarkably calm about the whole thing for a single mother, but she has more important things to worry about. Or so she thinks. I'm sensing a hybrid baby in this storyline.

Erica's partner Dale has amnesia but a V doctor helps him go inside his head and figure out what happened to him. Just when he remembers that Erica tried to kill him, the doctor reveals himself as a traitor V! Zomg! Maybe the resistance is more badass than we imagined. He says he is from "The Fifth Column" so hopefully there will be more of this in episodes to come. Finally the audience is let in on the fact that Anna planned the assassination attempt, on top of showing compassion to the widow Mary Faulkner, all to get good will and pity from us stupid humans. It worked. Also, Lisa is seducing Tyler on purpose (by orders?) and Anna is her mother. Whaaaaaaaat!

This show is just getting better every week.

"V" is on ABC Tuesday nights at 8 PM EST.
