Nicole Kidman's new Grace Kelly biopic Grace Of Monaco will open the Cannes Film Festival in May.
The news comes a day after movie mogul Harvey Weinstein and his producing partners scrapped the film's American March release following a dispute with director Olivier Dahan.
The La Vie en Rose director took aim at Weinstein in an interview last October, revealing there were "two versions" of the film - his and the movie mogul's.
Dahan said, "When you confront an American distributor like Weinstein, not to name names, there is not much you can do."
The movie, which also features Tim Roth as Monaco's Prince Ranier, will now have its world premiere in the south of France on May 14.
