Solange Knowles has hit out at singer/songwriter Dev Hynes after her former collaborator suggested he had written the majority of the R&B star's last project.

The pair struck up a close friendship and began working on her EP True, writing and producing together while holed up in a house in Santa Barbara, California.

The music was released last year (12) and Beyonce's younger sister garnered high praise for the seven-track disc, but it was Hynes who was credited for her success in various industry reviews, prompting Knowles to fire off a series of angry Twitter.com posts in April (13), writing, "I find it very disappointing when I am presented as the 'face' of my music, or a 'vocal muse' when I write or co-write every f**king song... Sexism in the industry ain't nothing new (sic)."

In a new interview with TheFader.com, Hynes, aka Blood Orange, maintains he wrote a good portion of the EP completely by himself, including the singles Losing You and Bad Girls, which he allegedly penned before ever meeting Knowles, and he admits their disagreement over the balance of their former working relationship has yet to be resolved.

He said, "We've spoken but I don't know where it's at."

Knowles declined to comment on the story with The Fader, but on Monday (25Nov13), she took to Twitter to take aim at Hynes once more, insisting she has been trying to contact him to clear the air for some time.

In a series of posts, she writes, "I have only ever praised you and spoken about you positively, even when our perspectives (on our work) were totally different. I still support your artistry & am extremely happy for your success. I just wished you were honest about the making of my album.

"That's all I'm going to say on this. You know more than anyone n**gas love drama. Also u know very well I have reached out. Bless. Ps: Your phone been going straight to VM (voicemail) for long time (sic)."
