Michael Caine to play Samuel L. Jackson's butler in new film comedy
Michael Caine is set to return to service on the big screen after signing up to play Samuel L. Jackson's butler in a new movie.
The veteran Brit, who played Bruce Wayne's devoted sidekick in Christopher Nolan's Dark Knight trilogy, will play the Pulp Fiction star's butler in a new comedy, adapted from 1960s Danish film Harry og Kammertjeneren.
In the movie, Jackson will play an alcoholic former jazz musician who discovers he has hired the services of a manservant after a night out celebrating an inheritance.
The project was initially intended as a vehicle for Sir Anthony Hopkins and Morgan Freeman.
