Claire Danes to host Nobel Peace Prize concert
Claire Danes has been tapped to host the 20th anniversary Nobel Peace Prize concert this December (13).
The Homeland actress will be the emcee at the event in Oslo, Norway, which will celebrate the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons.
The leaders of the agency received the honour earlier this month (Oct13), just days after the organisation's inspectors began their work in Syria to oversee the dismantling of President Bashar Assad's chemical arsenal.
While the performers for the 11 December concert have yet to be announced, the event usually attracts some of the world's biggest stars - Sir Paul McCartney, Rihanna and Tony Bennett have all attended in the past.
