Alanis Morissette is facing legal action from a former nanny, who alleges she worked exhausting 12-hour night shifts caring for the singer's newborn son without breaks.
Bianca Cambeiro is suing the Ironic hitmaker and her musician husband Mario Treadway, claiming she was ordered not leave the baby's bedroom under any circumstances during her employment from August, 2011 to last March (13).
According to her lawsuit, Cambeiro was only allowed a break if Morissette, Treadway or the couple's daytime nanny entered the room.
She is demanding more than $30,000 (£20,000) in unpaid overtime and other wages, as well as $100,000 (£67,000) for emotional distress, reports TMZ.com.
Morissette became a first-time mother when she gave birth to her son Ever Imre Morissette-Treadway on Christmas Day (25Dec) in 2010.
