Previously-unheard Amy Winehouse track surfaces
A previously-unheard Amy Winehouse song has been discovered by the tragic singer's father during studio sessions for his own album.
Mitch Winehouse reveals he only recently learned of the existence of the untitled track when an engineer pressed play on an old recording, which actually featured the Rehab hitmaker on vocals.
He tells Britain's Daily Star newspaper, "The guy engineering it pressed the button on some old tapes in the studio and there was Amy singing this great song nobody had heard before."
It is not yet known if the star's dad plans on releasing the tune in the future.
The Grammy Award winner died of alcohol poisoning in 2011. She would have celebrated her 30th birthday on Saturday (14Sep13).
