Olivia Newton-John 'in shock' over man's death at her home
Singer/actress Olivia Newton-John has been left "in shock" after learning of the death of a man at her home in Florida on Monday (19Aug13).
The body of the unidentified man was discovered at the residence the Grease star shares with her husband John Easterling.
It is believed the 42 year old shot himself, and the couple has released a statement to Entertainment Tonight expressing their disbelief.
The message reads, "Olivia and her husband John are in shock over the tragic event that occurred at their Florida home yesterday. At this time we are awaiting additional information from investigators but can confirm that the couple was not in Florida at the time and, the deceased was not a family member."
According to local news reports, the man was a contractor working on the Xanadu singer's house.
Police have opened an investigation into the death.
