Revered moviemaker/actor Werner Herzog has shot a new short film chronicling the hazards of texting while driving.

The Grizzly Man director, who played the villain in Tom Cruise movie Jack Reacher, has thrown his support behind the It Can Wait campaign to prevent motorists from reading and sending texts from behind the wheel of their vehicles.

His film, From One Second To The Next, follows the lives and deaths of car crash victims and their texting friends. It is available to watch online at ItCanWait.com.
