Jeff Garlin sued by motorist
Comedian Jeff Garlin has been hit with a lawsuit following his arrest in California last month (Jun13).
The Curb Your Enthusiasm star was taken into custody for reportedly breaking a window of Rachel Depaz's Mercedes-Benz with his hand during an outing in Studio City.
The 51-year-old father of two escaped vandalism charges, but now he is facing legal action from the other driver.
In the papers, obtained by TMZ.com, Depaz claims Garlin blocked her vehicle in a parking lot, prompting an exchange of gestures. It is then alleged the star approached the car and "slammed his fist against the driver's side window so hard that it broke the glass".
Depaz claims she feared for her life and calls Garlin a "very large, powerful and threatening man". She is demanding unspecified damages.
