Hugh Jackman staging special show for industry charity
Hugh Jackman is taking his Broadway show to Los Angeles for one-night only to raise money for a top Hollywood charity.
The Les Miserables star's Back on Broadway production broke records in 2011, and he is reprising the musical medley for his West Coast fans on 12 October (13).
Hugh Jackman... One Night Only will take place at the city's The Dolby Theatre and proceeds will benefit the Motion Picture & Television Fund (MPTF), which offers assistance to those in the industry.
The actor says, "Films, television and theatre have brought me great success throughout my career and it is one of my greatest pleasures to give back by putting on a show as a benefit to support MPTF."
