Jennifer Lopez urges fans to support Panama healthcare project
Jennifer Lopez has urged her fans to donate to a scheme which will allow medical students in Panama to travel to Los Angeles and enhance their skills at a leading hospital.
The singer/actress has long supported the country's healthcare system, even donating new equipment to a medical centre in Panama through her charitable organisation, the Lopez Family Foundation, last year (12).
An online fundraiser on Catapult.org has now been launched in conjunction with Lopez's charity to support Panamanian medical residents gaining pediatric health training at Children's Hospital Los Angeles, and the star has called on her fans to support the drive.
In a post on her Twitter.com page, she writes, "Please help me bring healthcare to Panama for Healthy babies. Together we can create CHANGE!"
