A judge has ordered actor Michael Madsen to check into rehab to conquer his drink problems.
The Kill Bill star was charged with two counts of driving under the influence (DUI) last year after he was arrested in Malibu, California with a blood alcohol content level of reportedly more than twice the legal limit.
Madsen struck a deal with prosecutors and agreed to attend Alcoholics Anonymous recovery meetings as part of his punishment, but he failed to follow through on his promise, causing a judge to revoke his probation during a hearing on Thursday.
The actor, who was sporting a black eye, was ordered to spend 30 days at a live-in alcohol treatment facility, where he must remain until a court signs off on his progress.
He has until Sunday to check into a program, according to TMZ.com.
