Joan Jett suing lingerie firm for trademark infringement
Rocker Joan Jett has launched legal action against the owners of a popular lingerie brand amid allegations of trademark infringement.
The singer claims Hot Topic bosses have ripped off her Blackheart Records name rights by calling their sexy new underwear collection Blackheart and advertising it as "lingerie for girls who rock and roll".
The I Love Rock 'n' Roll hitmaker, who also fronted Joan Jett & The Blackhearts, is demanding unspecified damages and an injunction to ban further sales of the namesake undergarments, according to TMZ.com.
