Vince Vaughn: 'So-called great actors are a little heavy-handed for me'
Vince Vaughn hates working with method actors because he thinks they're "a little heavy-handed".
The star of breezy films including The Wedding Crashers, Swingers and Old School is often criticised for playing the same character in his movies, but he admits he likes being himself in front of the camera.
He tells Rolling Stone magazine, "A lot of people that are considered to be great actors I can't stand watching, because they're acting - I can see them working.
"Some people go, 'That's amazing!' But I don't find it amazing. I find it to be a little heavy-handed. I think the whole key is to look like you're not acting.
"There's characters I've played that have had accents and have had different points of view, but I still try to make it organic. There's a lot of work in making it look like you're just being yourself."
