Arnold Schwarzenegger sells bodybuilding drama to U.S. network
Arnold Schwarzenegger has turned TV mogul after selling a new drama about Los Angeles' fitness culture to executives at U.S. cable network Showtime.
The former bodybuilder will also feature on the show, titled Pump, if a pilot episode is a hit - and the project becomes a series.
Showtime bosses announced the details of the deal, revealing the hour-long programme will follow the origins of the fitness industry and look at the "culture of body worship" through the eyes of a gym in Venice Beach.
Schwarzenegger will executive produce Pump.
