Snoop Lion struggling with Rastafarian diet
Rapper-turned-reggae star Snoop Lion is struggling to adopt Rastafarian culture 100 per cent - because he can't give up pork.
The Gin and Juice hitmaker, formerly Snoop Dogg, became a Rasta following a spiritual trip to Jamaica last year (12), but he can't quite get his head around the religion's mostly vegetarian diet, known as ital.
He tells Rolling Stone magazine, "Me and porky pig, we agree with each other. You gotta understand, I was fed this s**t from a baby. I believe I was eating meat from six months old.
"My mama said a n**ga knew how to chew early - threw down that bottle fast, said, 'Hand me some of that meat!'"
