Scrubs star Donald Faison has been hit with a lawsuit from his agents who allege he owes them commission payments.

Executives at United Talent Agency claim to be responsible for landing the actor his most famous role as Turk on the medical sitcom, as well as negotiating his fee of $75,356 (£48,600) per episode.

But in a new lawsuit, UTA chiefs allege Faison stopped paying them their 10 per cent commission during the show's ninth and final season, which aired in 2010.

Their complaint, filed in Los Angeles County Superior Court, states, "Faison has not only turned his back on the people that helped slingshot his career, but on his contractual obligations to those people."

Faison is also accused of failing to hand over commission on the $60,000 (£38,700) he made for starring in the pilot episode of failed TV series The Law.

The talent agency is seeking more than $70,000 (£47,000) in damages, reports TMZ.com.
