Disney favorites The Jonas Brothers are currently the most successful boy band on the scene right now. The New Jersey brothers have two recorded albums under their belts: It's About Time and the self-titled The Jonas Brothers. They are now on a sold out U.S. national tour.
Though "she's just being Miley" these days, this Disney celeb had us seeing double on her hit show Hannah Montana before rising to fame. Now a part of Disney royalty, she doesn't even need to make a video to make her songs a hit, like in the case of her latest single "See You Again." The track, off her latest double album Meet Miley Cyrus/Hannah Montana 2, is getting radio play everywhere.
Though this Disney superstar has yet to release his own recording, you can bet if he ever does it will be a biggie. Efron is mostly known for his starring role in the High School Musical series. The singer/actor further showcased his singing talent in Hairspray last year.
Ultra cool Corbin Bleu made us want to master double dutch in Disney's Jump In! He is also one of the major stars featured in the Disney "High School Musical" series. This no nonsense singer/actor also found time to record and release a debut album called "Another Side" in 2007.
Naked Brothers Band
The Nickelodean show that started out as a made-for-TV music act, created by former Thirtysomething actress Polly Draper, The Naked Brothers Band are now very much a reality in every tween's world. The band features brothers Nat, and Alex. Check out "If That's Not Love," off their self-titled album "The Naked Brothers Band."
For Disney star Hudgens, the "High School Musical" films have been the icing on the cake. As the stepping stone to the start of her acting and singing career, Hudgens recorded and released her debut solo album "V" late 2006. Her song "Say Ok" is the most popular single off her latest title.
Raven Symone, The Cosby Show grad, found a niche for herself by starring in Disney's The Cheetah Girls, and That's So Raven. The actress/singer, who keeps quite busy, also has a new film out called College Road Trip. Look for her fourth album, "Raven Symone," to be released on April 29. Her new single, "Double Dutch Bus," is from the "College Road Trip" film and her forthcoming album.
Disney's The Suite Life of Zack & Cody introduced us to actress/singer Ashley Tisdale. However, it wasn't until she was a member of the famed "High School Musical" cast that she started to make her mark. Tisdale recorded and released her solo debut album "Headstrong" last year.
Newcomer Selena Gomez, who plays Alex on Disney's "Wizards of Waverly Place," is someone to watch. To make her big mark, the actress/singer is also working on developing her music career. Wasting no time, she has recorded "Cruella De Vil" for the new release of Disney's 101 Dalmations on video.
Aly & AJ
Sister act Aly & AJ have been on the scene for about four years. To date they have recorded three albums, the latest being Insomniatic. Their popular hit "The Potential Breakup Song" was a popular track last year on Disney Radio. They are currently working on a new recording.
We heard Keke Palmer show her singing chops on Disney's "Jump In!" movie. The famed Akeelah and the Bee actress, now concentrating on her singing career, just released solo debut title "So Uncool" late last year.
