Two men who stole parts from the destroyed car involved in Paul Walker's tragic death have pled no contest and will be sentenced to jail.
On the night of November 30, the date Paul Walker and friend Roger Rodas were killed in a fiery car accident, Anthony Edward Janow, 26 and James Brooks Witty,18, stole a roof panel off the destroyed Porsche Carrera GT while the tow truck carrying the vehicle was stopped at a red light.
According to the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office, Janow was facing charges of one felony count of grand theft of personal property and one misdemeanor count each of destroying evidence and resisting, obstructing and delaying a peace officer. Witty was charged with one misdemeanor count each of grand theft of personal property, destroying evidence and resisting, obstructing and delaying a peace officer.
The two men have entered no contest pleas and are expected to face 180 days in jail apiece.
