Bruce Springsteen

New Jersey-born rockers Bruce Springsteen and Jon Bon Jovi and New Yorker Billy Joel will be performing Friday night on NBC to raise money for the victims of Hurricane Sandy.

Hurricane Sandy: Coming Together will air on the network as a live telethon and will feature the musicians rocking out. Sting, Christina Aguilera, and Brian Williams are set to appear, and Matt Lauer will host. The telethon is set to begin at 8 p.m. EST.

The telecast will benefit the American Red Cross, and NBC has offered other networks the option to carry the feed. To donate to the Red Cross in the meantime, visit RedCross.org or call 1-800-RED-CROSS, or text the word REDCROSS to 90999 to make a $10 donation.
