Billie Joe Armstrong had to cancel a Green Day gig to be rushed to a hospital, and the particular health scare has yet to be revealed. However, when the singer arrived in the US today, he was speechless.

In a video posted on TMZ.com, Armstrong seems in okay health while walking out of the airport, but motions to his throat when he's asked questions by the surrounding press. He appeared to mouth "my voice is gone," before leaving.

Italian publication La Voce also reports some fans caused problems at the hospital by attempting to visit Armstrong. 

Green Day has profusely apologized for the cancellation, and Armstrong's band mates Mike Dirnt and Tre Cool have promised they will return whenever they can.
