The first man to sue John Travolta of sexual battery has admitted he got the date wrong after Travolta's lawyer proved the battery was impossible - because Travolta was in New York, not in L.A. as the accuser claimed.

Now, RadarOnline reports, the man will be altering his suit to an earlier date. "It was a miscalculation," a source told the website. A second source claims the change in dates won't necessarily affect the lawsuit.

"This case will absolutely proceed through depositions and to a trial. The lawsuit can't and won't be thrown out because the date was wrong by the first John Doe, which will ultimately be up to a jury to decide. Both accusers are ready to go public, and aren't afraid of John Travolta, and they will see this through to the end," the source said, referring to a second man suing Travolta.

The plaintiff, identified only as John Doe, claims the Grease star touched his genitals and offered up a sexual proposition after hiring him for a massage. A second plaintiff came forward with similar claims.
